Mount Athos is a mountain and peninsula in Northern Greece. A World Heritage Site and autonomous polity within the Hellenic Republic under the official name Autonomous Monastic State of the Holy.
Pick up from your hotel in Thessaloniki at 8.00 ocklock in the morning the departure cruise from Uranupoli . Sailing up the Skete of St. Anna, you will travel towards the southern tip of Mount Athos. From here the ship changes course and sails north, along the western coast of the peninsula, while an informative tour is conducted in both Greek, German and English by the experienced guide.
From a distance of approximately 500 meters you will overlook all the monasteries from the boat. The luxury cruise ship offers a large living room (sufficient space for up to 100 people), a panoramic lounge (150 people) and a sun deck with chairs and tables and a capacity of 100 people.
